As I was putting together gift bag items for The Wedding Salon Bridal Trade Show taking place in NY on November 14th 2011. I had so many ideas going through my head such as winter wedding, retro wedding and green wedding.
It also reminded me of the beautiful light emerald green 1950’s slip I used to have. It was adorned with beautiful cream lace so pretty I had to wear it as a dress, it was to pretty to not show off. With all that said today my thoughts inspired me to make two beautiful vegan mineral eye shadows that happily complement one another and are a complement to all skin tones.

Eyes
Then, it’s time to put all the focus on the eyes. Start with a nude shadow as a base, like Pin Up’s Starlet Duo (note: use only the light color in the duo as your base) Apply Starlet all over your eye lid. Next taking a slightly damp liner brush layer Pin Up’s mineral eye shadow in Raven along the lash line, winging it out to the sides, creating a soft cat-eye style. Using a loose mineral shadow to do this instead of a harsher, sharper eyeliner line is the key to the soft, girly look.
Note:
Try to only line from the outer corner to the middle of the lower lash line, to give the eye a rounder look.
Finally, we come to the key to Zooey’s and Thandie’s look: those beautiful long and luxe eyelashes. Accent your lashes with false half eyelashes. Half lashes will enhance your look not create a new one. They are shorter than a typical strip false eyelashes and are used on the outer corners of the eyes for a 60‘s mod look. Curl and apply mascara to finish your look.
